The Sandy Koufax Division is a subset of the Long Island Connie Mack League and includes the better middle school players.  By national guidelines, Sandy Koufax participants may not have reached their fifteenth birthday by May 1 in the year in which they seek eligibility.

The Sandy Koufax program runs from late May to mid-August and includes a 22 regular game schedule, an all-star game and playoff games at the end of the season.  Koufax schedules include doubleheaders on most weekends and either twilight or night games during the week.

In addition, Koufax Division teams compete for the privilege to play in the AABC Sandy Koufax World Series held during early August.  Such competition includes both local and regional tournament qualifiers to select World Series participants.  The League also sends representatives to NABF tournaments for this age group.
