| About LICM The Long Island Connie Mack League, Inc. is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization which conducts a summer baseball program for above average middle school, high school junior varsity/varsity and first year college players. Over 1,100 players and coaches from Nassau County and Queens participate in the league. The League is a charter member of the American Amateur Baseball Congress, and maintains this membership through the Metro New York Association. The League also maintains membership in the National Amateur Baseball Federation. For information on league management, see our officers page. Divisions The League is composed of 3 types of divisions by age group:
League fees average $2900 per team which includes all umpire fees, insurance, baseballs and administrative charges. Teams provide their own uniforms and equipment. All League participants, including managers and coaches, must wear regulation baseball uniforms. Rules & LogisticsPlay is governed principally by American League Rules. All team managers receive detailed League coordination books with schedules, rules, contacts, etc. to assist them during the season. See our General Rules page for more information. FieldsGames are played on Nassau County, Town of Hempstead and local town fields or high school complexes. Each participating team is required to bring in one field for its home games. League MeetingsLeague meetings are held monthly at Baldwin Park in Baldwin from February to July.
